Jim McNulty is the Executive Director of Oasis. He has been a long-time advocate in the mental health movement since attending his first support group in 1988. In 2012 he helped establish peer services in Rhode Island. He has been an Oasis member since 1989. Jim has been involved with many national and state-level initiatives in developing behavioral healthcare services, including serving as president of the board for NAMI National and terms on the National Advisory Mental Health Council (NIMH) and the Center for Mental Health Services (SAMHSA). He dotes on his grandchildren and two chihuahuas and is a voracious reader.
Charles Feldman

Charles Feldman is the Director of Communications at Oasis. He is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), and has been involved in mutual peer support since the 1980's. He is active in hosting Oasis support groups, dealing with membership issues, and cracking people up with his dry sense of humor (or so he is told.) Charlie is the founder of the Mental Health Recovery Coalition of RI (MHRC-RI), which advocates for a better mental health system in Rhode Island. Charlie likes to read spiritual, philosophical and mental health-related books, and is active in his spiritual community
